Mr Sergio A. Silverio (Masters Prize Winner 2020)

Sergio A. Silverio is an academic Psychologist whose work can be best described as that of ‘Medical Psychology’. Having graduated in 2016 from the University of Liverpool with a Master’s in Psychological Sciences (Clinical & Health Psychology), he subsequently read for a Master’s in Psychological and Psychiatric Anthropology at Brunel University London, graduating in 2019.


Sergio maintains a primary research focus in women’s mental health over the lifecourse and has a particular interest in qualitative methods. He was recently promoted to the unique role of Research Associate in Social Science of Women’s Health at the Department of Women & Children’s Health, King’s College London; where he is responsible for the development, implementation, and evaluation of qualitative research provision; as well as leading his own portfolio of research.
